Dear Students

Typhoon RAGASA is expected to approach soon! Please closely monitor the Central Weather Administration typhoon warnings and announcements from the Hsinchu City Government regarding class or work suspension.

Make sure to prepare in advance (emergency supplies, safety plans, and communication with family) and stay alert! 💪

⚠️ Typhoon Safety Tips:

• Avoid going to mountains, seaside, or riverside areas during the typhoon. If you have outdoor activities planned, please postpone or change the location.

• For on- and off-campus camps or activities, please prepare contingency plans for typhoon conditions, including alternatives for heavy rain. Stop activities when necessary and keep close contact with parents/guardians.

• Students who are currently hiking or camping outdoors should return home as early as possible. Be sure to inform your school and family about your itinerary and route. In case of emergency, dial 119 or 112 immediately.

🏠 For students in dorms or rented housing:

• Prepare drinking water, dry food, instant noodles, and other emergency supplies in advance.

• Stay indoors during the typhoon and avoid unnecessary outings. Keep in touch with your family at all times.
